Bauer Media Audio, the #1 commercial radio broadcaster in the UK, with over 150 stations, aimed to create a radio aggregator for on-the-go listening, tapping into the growing digital audio market while addressing declining listenership among younger audiences and increasing competition.

Ongoing research revealed that users valued uninterrupted listening, human-curated personalized content, and the spontaneous nature of radio, which we aimed to preserve in this modernized experience to boost retention.

Introduced curated episode collections by favorite radio personalities and used human-centered photography for content covers to hone in the people driven content, making the app more relatable and engaging.
